Are they planning on using the LG Chem battery made in Korea and NOT make the batteries they planned to in Smyrna Tennessee.   NISSAN took a 1.4 Billion dollar DOE loan.... The technology for the NISSAN Leaf battery is the same as they used in the 90's the C.A.R.B. days.  the collateral for the NISSAN leaf loan is a taxpayer backed IDB bond.

NISSAN wants the loan "written off" their operating margins are so low they can't pay it back.  NISSAN promised 1300 "green" jobs and NOW the car will create 60-70 long term jobs. NISSAN just canceled the grand opening of the battery plant and the mainstream media ignores reporting on the NISSAN failure.  This makes no sense.  Can someone investigate.
